By eliminating the need for traditional external couplings, the “Insert” design allows the pump shaft to be directly coupled within the motor shaft, reducing the overall footprint of the assembly. Expert Maintenance Tips:

• Verify Shaft Alignment: When inserting the pump into the motor, ensure the tang or spline is perfectly aligned with the internal slot. Never force the pump into the motor with a hammer, as axial impact will damage the motor’s rear bearings and lead to vibration.

• Rotational Direction Check: Perform a “jog” test after wiring to ensure the motor’s rotation matches the pump’s specified direction. Running the pump in reverse, even briefly, can prevent priming and cause instant pump failure due to dry friction.
