The KHB Series (also known as BKH) high-pressure ball valves by Chengyuan Hydraulic are the industry standard for directional isolation in hydraulic systems. This series is fully compatible with global specifications, including British standard threads KHB-G3/8-1112-03X-A, KHB-G1/2-1112-01X-A, and metric light series KHB-08LR-1112-09X-A-SW09.
As a critical component for circuit isolation, Chengyuan utilizes a forged block body combined with a precision floating ball structure to handle system pressures up to 500 bar. Expert Maintenance Tips:
High Differential Pressure Warning: While designed for high pressure, avoid rotating the handle under extreme differential pressure if possible. This reduces wear on the POM seats. Switching under balanced pressure extends the valve’s life.
Fluid Compatibility: Standard POM seats are not compatible with water-glycol fluids. For fire-resistant fluids, specify stainless steel bodies and FKM seals.
Limit Stop Verification: Ensure the handle is rotated fully to the 90-degree stop in either the open or closed position. Leaving the valve partially open will cause uneven erosion of the seats and eventual sealing failure.
