By leveraging the compressibility of nitrogen gas within a rubber bladder, NXQ accumulators store hydraulic energy for rapid release. Expert Maintenance Tips:

• Pre-charge Calibration: Pre-charge pressure $P_0$ is typically set to 90% of the minimum working pressure. NEVER use oxygen or compressed air; use only high-purity nitrogen.

• Vertical Orientation: Accumulators should be installed vertically (gas valve on top) to minimize friction between the bladder and shell and to facilitate air bleeding.

• Routine Inspection: Inspect the pre-charge pressure every six months. A significant drop in pressure may indicate a faulty gas valve core or a deteriorating bladder.
